The project was inspired by the rethinking of the tradition of the payment of Orthodox icons, as well as the continuity of sacrilege images in contemporary poetry.

The mirror in Christian tradition is seen as a reflection of the light in the soul. It can also be perceived as a portal between the worlds — the earth and the divine. This delicate connection between the worlds is shown through a portion of the text on the salary performed by the knit. The song «On the Edge» («Dmitry of the Lake», music of Leonid Fyodorov) became the site.

It is possible to insert a signed sheet on the back of the frame. In this case, it is a duplication of the song’s text with a semi-structural text.

Salary is a generic model in which a mirror, photograph, or drawing can be inserted. The structure allows the frame to be placed on the shelf in two positions or hung on the wall: both for the thread and for the self-cut.
The framework is complete in two colours, red and black, and on top is covered with half-match varnish.

The project was created using 3D plastic printing technology at the workshop TUNGSTEN. You can learn more about the different aspects of the 3D prints and you can be inspired to create your own creative project. I express my appreciation and gratitude Ver Beaverka for her involvement in the project and training in Calligraphy. In July 2025, the project visited Astoria Vintage & Home Market at the Astoria Hotel.
