[01] Concept

«The Young Traveler’s Set» is a series of functional soft-blank transformers that the child receives as the urban route passes. Each keyboard is dedicated to a specific route and to the signpost of Moscow. Its shape is easily recognizable and refers to the image of the city, and the toy itself is transformed into a useful object that can be used during a walk. The brace is conveniently attached to the backpack and becomes a regular companion of the child on the way. Through the routes, the child gradually collects his or her own chain collection. In time, it turns into a personal history of meeting Moscow, a city that opens up step by step through play, movement, and discovery.

Each one has a size of about two inches [9 cm] and is compact, easy and child-friendly, does not weigh the backpack and is well placed in the palms. The product is made of worn — out and child — safe materials: the outer layer is a dense soft textiles. Toys are manufactured by textile croy, shape parts are painted on the medicine, stitched up and supplemented by elements of transformation.

The Young Traveler Recruitment project can develop as a scalable collection system in which each route in Moscow receives its own visual symbol and functional satellite object. The project is being expanded by new routes linked to the city ' s signposts. Each new route complements the child ' s collection and exposes Moscow through shape, play and practical use.
