Russian Art Center
The Russian Art Center in Kaliningrad is a private museum of mecenate and collector Rustam Aliev, which includes a collection of works of art and the construction of a museum and leisure complex in the historic heart of the city. His mission was to become a space for dialogue between classicalism and modernity, bringing together different ages, artistic practices and cultural traditions. The Centre seeks to speak a living and modern visual language by creating a dynamic cultural space capable of resonating with both a local context and a global audience, rather than an archivist museum.
Andentics
Aidendics is based on the idea that art does not have the only correct reading: its meaning changes depending on the point of view. The square, the classic form of the painting and the symbol of the artistic tradition, is the starting point of the visual system. By shifting, distorting and transforming in the future, it reflects the multifaceted nature of art and the dialogue between classics and modern views.
For each museum area — paintings, graphics, sculptures, photographs, modern art, art object, porcelain and Königsberg artists — a texture of its own and a color palette inspired by the museum’s collection has been developed. Thus, the visual language of the brand is formed from living swabs, invoices, and colour decisions of the works themselves. This highlights the multidisciplinary nature of the museum and connects the museum collection with the modern design of the idenics.
