In Conversation with the City

In the series, I deny my own perception of urban photography.

Initially abandoning color, not focusing on symbols and cultural markers of the city, I cut off unnecessary information. Emphasizing the geometry of objects in the frame, I look for more abstract artistic meanings. Documentary image loses its believability, the viewer gets more freedom in interpreting the narrative. Dialogues of forms and rhythmic repetition of elements in the series are trying to distract him from the usual perception of urban daily life.
